Over the last two decades, Master Bootfitter Tom James has created a solid approach to the boot selection and boot fitting process. Partnering with Intuition Liners since 2011 has given him the opportunity to help hundreds of skiers every season get the fit they are looking for.
Beginner to Olympian, young to old, The Boot Mechanic uses seasoned skills and knowledge to help people get the best out of their day.

About the Boot Mechanic
Tom James has over 20 years of boot fitting experience. Backcountry boot fitting is a difficult process; with his knowledge and tools Tom has become a well-known fitter not only within Vancouver's snow sports community, but also nationally and internationally.
Tom also teaches boot fitting, and has provided training programs for Escape Route, Mountain Equipment Co-op, and Valhalla Pure Outfitters staff.
